The Norkem Group celebrates its 40th anniversary as a leading international stockist, distributor and producer of high quality speciality and general chemicals in 2010.

Despite the global recession and reduced demand in the chemical sector, Norkem further extended their market share with a turnover of £80 million in 2009.

Their continued success is fuelled by their constant business development in sectors such as animal feed supplements, food and pharmaceuticals, which have all continued to grow considerably.

"These are exciting and challenging times for us" says Norkem's Managing Director Graham Lewis "Our expansion into China and Spain has brought us many new opportunities and we will continue our development in these regions. Additionally through 2010 and beyond we have plans for further expansion into Asia and Australia as well as other European countries".
