Delivery systems
Norkem delivers all its suspensions in either bulk road tankers
or returnable semi-bulk containers (IBCs).
Our high storage inventories allow prompt and efficient delivery to any European and Australasian location. Upon return IBCs are cleaned and checked for leaks, faulty valves or broken pallets before being re-used.
Support Services
Norkem provides a whole host of support services to the clay industry, from clay testing
services to colour matching to specialist engobe design.
Clay is tested for soluble sulphate content and addition rates recommended for barium
carbonate addition.
Product samples are issued on a global basis.
We can analyse and recommend products and addition rates to match existing or out of production products
- this is particularly important for restoration work.
We supply product, pumps and pipe-work for initial production trials and we are prepared to attend, set-up
and supervise if required.
Our Technical Ceramicist can design and specify surface stains and engobes to meet your exacting requirements.
Inventory Control
Norkem can remotely monitor the stock level of any of our solutions or suspensions stored in bulk silo tanks via the Internet.
In doing this we can ensure you never run out of product, organising deliveries to arrive with you just-in-time.
