Norkem is delighted to announce that they have confirmed their place to exhibit at The Ingredients Show, set to take place in July in Birmingham, UK. The Ingredients Show, to be held in the NEC from the 5th-7th July, is one of the UK’s most exclusive food and drink based events for exhibiting supplements and nutritional additives. Norkem’s exhibition will feature one of the most exciting updates to our product range; our GOFOS portfolio, as well as our expanded range of Hemp products.
The Birmingham Ingredients Show forms part of the UK-based series of exhibitions, termed ‘The UK Food & Drink Shows’ which allow exhibitions from those working in the regions of food development, manufacturing, wholesale and foodservice, and grocery. The exhibition is attended by experts in the field, retailers and stockists, along with those who are in development of nutritional supplements themselves. Exhibitions running alongside the The Ingredients Show include such national names as Foodex, Food & Drink Expo, National Convenience Show, Farm Shop & Deli Show and The Forecourt Show, which all focus on different aspects of food production and nutrition.

Norkem is thrilled to be attending The Ingredients Show as one of the UK’s leading additive and ingredient suppliers, to showcase our GOFOS and Hemp product ranges, both of which have garnered attention in recent months for their positive nutritional and wellbeing benefits. GOFOS, a prebiotic soluble fibre derived from sugar beet, is an increasingly popular supplement added to many foodstuffs, drinks and supplements for its feature of enhancing the fibre content while reducing its overall calorie content.
Norkem’s Hemp product range includes protein, flour, whole seeds, hulled whole seeds and cold pressed oil. Produced in the UK from UK-grown hemp, this is a new project for our manufacturing partner and a great opportunity for our customers to expand their product ranges into the vegan and plant-based food arena. Sustainable, ethically conscious and low carbon impact.
This Hemp range complements Norkem’s Cannabinoid range which includes CBD and refers to cannabidiol products made from EU approved Cannabis Sativa L., by one of the large scale producers of CBD in the UK. CBD products have long been heralded for their reported properties of health benefits and treatment for chronic illness and pain. Norkem’s CBD product ranges meet EU regulatory requirements and are compliant with the new FSA guidance.
Norkem has a stand secured (AA109) and will be sending the Norkem UK Food and Drink team to represent the company at this prestigious event. The event is set to be fully Covid-secure, with all guidelines adhered to and regular testing on-site. Norkem’s teams are looking forward to the first opportunity for face-to-face meetings with our customers since the COVID-19 pandemic, and our teams are excited to share our products with you all.
