Material: Aspartame is another calorie free artificial sweetener. It is around 200 times sweeter that sugar and like some other sweeteners has a bitter after taste. This can be masked by Acesulfame K, which is why the two are often used in conjunction with each other. It is most commonly used as an additive in diet soft drinks.
